King Kong (1976 remake) unused movie ticket

Disaster/ monster/ Thriller unused movie ticket- King Kong (1976)

This authentic 1976 Japanese advance movie ticket (Maeuriken) was issued for the premier roadshow release of Dino De Laurentiis’s large-scale remake of the 1933 classic King Kong. Valid across select major Tokyo theaters, the piece remains in exceptional condition, featuring sharp typography and dynamic, period-accurate Japanese graphic design. Adding to its collectible value and historical charm, the reverse side features a vintage Jim Beam advertisement, rendering it a compelling dual-sided artifact of 1970s pop-culture marketing.Within Japanese cinema culture, films of this scale belong to the Daikaiju (大怪獣) genre—literally translating to "Giant Monster." While King Kong originated in Western cinema, Japanese pop culture fully embraced the character as a foundational icon alongside legendary domestic titans like Godzilla (Gojira).
