Condition & Authenticity of Collectibles

1. Description of Condition

As we specialize in vintage and pre-owned Japanese movie memorabilia (including VHS tapes, chirashi's & tickets items are sold in various states of preservation.

  • "As Described": Under the Consumer Rights Act, items must match their description. We provide high-resolution photography and detailed notes on condition (e.g., "fold lines," "pinholes," "foxing," or "edge wear").

     

  • Natural Aging: Minor imperfections consistent with the age of the item that were disclosed in the listing (or are clearly visible in photos) do not constitute a "fault."

  • Condition Grading: We do not use industry-standard grading so the condition is subjective we encourage you to review all photos very carefully before purchase.

2. Sealed & Media Items

In accordance with UK Distance Selling regulations, your right to cancel and return a "change of mind" order is voided if:

  • You unseal or open a factory-sealed item

  • The item is a "Blind Box" or "Gashapon" style collectible where the internal packaging has been opened.

3. Authenticity Guarantee

We guarantee that all of the collectibles have been sourced as authentic Japanese memorabilia. If an item is proven to be a modern reproduction or bootleg through an official recognised collectable authenticitator and is considered "not authentic " you are entitled to a full refund including all shipping costs RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 14 DAYS.

4. Packaging for Returns

Collectibles are fragile. If you are returning an item due to a change of mind:

  • The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received.

  • You must use the same or equivalent protective packaging (e.g., heavy-duty mailing tubes, acid-free sleeves, or reinforced cardboard).

  • Value Diminishment: If an item is returned damaged due to inadequate packaging by the customer, we reserve the right to deduct the loss in value from your refund (up to 100%).
