TERMS OF SERVICE

OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Tokyo RetroWorks Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tokyo RetroWorks. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

SECTION 1 - CONDITION OF COLLECTIBLES

Our inventory consists of vintage and pre-owned Japanese movie memorabilia 

  • Subjectivity of Grading: Grading (e.g., "Near Mint," "Fine") is our professional opinion. We provide high-resolution images as the primary description of condition. By purchasing, you acknowledge that vintage paper items may have minor age-related wear (foxing, softening of edges, or minor creases) unless stated as "Mint."

  • Color Accuracy: We endeavor to display product colors accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device’s monitor will accurately reflect the physical item's color.

SECTION 2 - ORDER LIMITATIONS & REFUSALS

We reserve the right to refuse any order. Because our items are often one-of-a-kind (unique stock), an item may become unavailable before the website updates. In such cases:

  • We will notify you immediately.

  • A full refund will be issued if the item is no longer in stock.

  • We reserve the right to limit quantities sold to any one person or household to prevent "scalping" or unauthorized resale.

SECTION 3 - PRICING AND ERRORS

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. While we strive for 100% accuracy, we are not liable for typographical errors or pricing glitches. If an item is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full before shipment.

SECTION 4 - INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

If you are ordering from outside the United Kingdom:

  • Import Duties: You (the buyer) are the importer of record. You are responsible for all VAT, GST, customs duties, and handling fees imposed by your country.

  • Customs Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by local customs offices.

  • Accurate Valuation: We will not "under-declare" the value of items on customs forms, as this is illegal and voids our shipping insurance.

SECTION 5 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this site, including product descriptions, photography, and site design, is the property of Tokyo RetroWorks. You may not use our images or text for commercial purposes or to resell items on third-party platforms without our express written permission.

SECTION 6 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Tokyo RetroWorks shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct/indirect damages of any kind arising from your use of any of our products. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by improper framing, UV exposure, or handling of fragile paper collectibles once in your possession.

SECTION 7 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland if applicable).
