Distributed in Japan by Toshiba Video / Toshiba EMI (Toshiba Video Software Co., Ltd.), this release dates to 1985 following the movie's theatrical premiere in Japan, original retail list price marked at ¥14,800. Original Japanese sealed Betamax releases of prominent 1980s Western horror films are exceptionally scarce as the Betamax format was rapidly overtaken by VHS in commercial popularity during the mid-1980s.
