Unused stamped Rocky (1977) movie ticket

Unused simultaneous screening movie ticket-Rocky ( 1977) 

This is an unused 1977 "Tanzaku" style advance ticket for a second-run screening of Rocky at the Kyoto Roxy theater, located in the historic Shinkyogoku entertainment district. Following the film's Japanese premiere on April 16, 1977, and its subsequent Best Picture win at the 49th Academy Awards, this ticket was issued for a summer engagement starting exactly on August 20, 1977 and has an official Kyoto Movie Theater Association authentication stamp which is visible on the reverse. The inclusion of the double-feature title Ie (家)—referring to the 1976 film Burnt Offerings—and the vintage 7-digit phone number further marks it as a pristine time capsule of 1970s Japanese cinema culture.
