Jaws (1975) unused movie ticket

General admission unused movie ticket - Jaws ( 1970s )

This unredeemed 1975 Japanese advance ticket (mae-uri ken) for JAWS is an incredibly rare piece of Japanese cinema history. Because most advance tickets were surrendered or torn at theater box offices nearly five decades ago, intact surviving examples are highly scarce—especially with the unique, limited-run regional imprint for the Takamatsu Shochiku theater. There were multiple releases of films through the years for blockbuster titles and sometimes tickets were undated. The Takamatsu Schochiku was a major first run Cinema. This was printed by the Schochiku Distribution network. The ¥1000 price tag places it in the late 1970s print run era.
